I'm passionate about working with clients who want to grow personally and who want better relationships with themselves and others. As a licensed professional counselor, I've been doing this very thing as a career for more than a decade.  For me, it’s all about exploring hope-filled possibilities -- using my hands and feet and heart and voice for good, and helping others do the same. You'll find in me a warm welcome, a listening ear, and a breadth of support.

I’ve been trained as a helping professional, earning a Master of Divinity from Baylor and a Master of Education in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt. I’ve also completed advanced post-graduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. These degrees and training have been tremendously helpful to me. Even so, where I’ve learned the most has been in the living of life with people--in one-on-one settings, in groups, as counselor, as client, as friend, as mother, as daughter, as sister, as teacher, as student. I believe strongly in the power of connection.
