can we put the Earth back?

Smiling Earth sticky notes on a textured background

Earlier this week I wrote about creation stories—how the stories we inherit shape what we believe about ourselves and about the world, and what can happen when we become curious enough to look closely at these stories and their impact. In a Substack field note, I described further what has shifted in me as I’ve explored some of my own.

Now, I offer a companion poem in which I consider that remembering our true beginning might help us to imagine a different way forward. You can find can we put the Earth back? as my latest substack field note.

If you’re curious about counseling, I’d be honored to connect with you. I work with women who feel overwhelmed and off-balance, offering a compassionate, steady presence and joining as a collaborator to help you stay with what’s emerging in the moment and get curious about the deeper layers of your experience. Together, we experiment with small, meaningful changes that lead to different ways of being and moving through the world. My specialties include anxiety therapy, midlife growth and empowerment, and young adults and college/graduate students. You can contact me here.
